About me

Sung Yun is the Team Lead of Bloomberg's Cloud Native Compute Services (CNCS) Trino & Catalog engineering team, based out of New York City. His team focuses on utilizing open source tools like Kubernetes, Trino and Apache Iceberg to build a scalable data exploration platform for the company's engineers and data analysts.

Sung is an Apache Iceberg Committer, and he holds a master's degree in computer science from Cornell University.
