About me
After obtaining a master degree in computer engineering at Politecnico di Milano with a thesis on hybrid recommendation systems in 2011, Fabio started his career at Moviri as an application performance and data center capacity planning consultant. In 2014 he moved to Boston to help expand Moviri’s presence in the United States.
Fabio moved back to Italy in 2019, were he joined Empatica, an MIT spin-off focused on wearable devices for monitoring patients with neurological conditions, where he was instrumental in modernising and securing the IT infrastructure, and optimising the data processing pipeline.
In 2020 he joined Sysdig, a DevSecOps startup, where he collaborated with multiple software development teams to redesign critical parts of the product in order to massively increase performance and scalability. He also helped expanding the European site reliability engineering team and kickstarting a team in APAC.
