MetalLB is one of the go-to solutions to have LoadBalancer services on bare metal. It offered a way to advertise your Loadbalancer services to the (on premise) fabric via BGP since long ago.
In the recent iterations though, we evolved its BGP engine so that it can be used for purposes that go beyond "simple" service advertisements! In this demo I'll show how MetalLB (and FRR-K8s as a backend) can be leveraged to add interesting BGP features to our clusters.
